When Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple Inc. unveiled the iPhone to the public in January 2007, it became an instant craze around the world. The battery made of lithium-ion material which can recharged through USB or power adaptor boasts of 5 hours talk time in 3G network, 300 hours of standby time and 30 hours of non-stop audio playback.

iPhone runs on the iPhone OS and requires the most basic system specifications in a PC or MAC with internet access and iTunes store account to function. iPhone 3GS has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus and records VGA videos at 30fps with ease. And the recorded images can be simply transferred to Face book, MobileMe or YouTube, etc and this feature was not available in the first and second generation iPhones.

Offering connectivity through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GSM and UMTS, the iPhone supports HTML email and PDF, MS Office programs; and presentations in PowerPoint can be viewed on the phone anytime anyplace. Labeled as Time Magazine’s invention of the year in 2007, the iPhone is indeed every gadget lover’s most prized possession.
